There are so many statistical softwares, why should I choose StatEL ?
Do you know enough statistics to identify at any time the most suitable statistical test? Are you able to check the conditions of use for the test you plan to practice by yourself? Are you able to verify the homogeneity of variances/covariances and sphericity hypothesis is common for you? If applicable, can you identifiy the most suitable substitution test in case of rejection of conditions of use for your initial test? In case of regression analysis, do you know the visual procedure of graphs analysis (residuals, levers effects...) in order to evaluate quality of estimated model?
If you answer "yes" to every questions, you are a professional statistician and StatEL is not the most suitable tool for you. If not, then StatEL is made for you and it will allow you to avoid many stumbling blocks due to a misunderstanding or the misuse of statistics.
Which do I need to run StatEL ?
StatEL runs on Windows 98, 2000, Millenium, XP and Vista, as well as Mac OS X Tiger (10.4) and Leopard (10.5). Mac OS 10.3.9 is also supported.
You are also required to have a copy of Microsoft Excel installed on your computer. You must have one of the following editions to run StatEL:
for Windows: any version from Excel 97 to Excel 2007
for Mac OS X: version 10 (Excel X) or 11 (Excel 2004) only
Warning to Macintosh users :
For users of Mac:Excel, you must have already downloaded and installed the last upgrade to your Excel version (10 or 11), otherwise you will have bugs inherent to Excel. (You can download the upgrade from with the Excel applications or visit the Mac Office site of Microsoft.)
Microsoft decided to remove VBA macros from its latest version of Mac:Office and therefore StatEL is not supported on Excel 2008 for Mac.
How valid are the calculations from StatEL?
StatEL's results have been tested and certified by the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology. You are welcome to download StatEL's validation report for futher proof. You may then want to ask yourself if the company who develops your current statistical software also does the same certification as proof.
Who are the typical users of StatEL?
Initially prefered for their scientific and medical functionalities, StatEL was mainly used by university research laboratories, biotechnology companies, private medical research companies, doctors and students. How can I buy StatEL ?
Your first step is to download a demo version of StatEL, which has a drop down menu labeled "StatEL/Unlock". Clicking on this menu will allow you to fill out a form, which you can send to contact@adscience.eu. This License form contains details we need to assign your license key to your computer system. You will also need to make payment of your software license through the Pricing page on this web site. Once we receive payment and the License form, we will send you the unlock key via email.
If your department requires a Purchase Order, we would be happy to work with you and send a quotation. All that you have to do is send us an email through our Contact Us Form and to specify which version of StatEL you would like to purchase (Base, Med, AD, Complete), your Operating System (Windows or Mac), the Number of Licences you want to buy, and the name of the Person/Company to which the quotation should be addressed. We will send you a quote as quickly as possible, which you can reply via email or fax.
What is the order and installation procedure for the StatEL software?

How will I receive the installation file of StatEL after purchasing?
You will first need to download a demo version of the StatEL software program and simply insert the license key to unlock all the features. We will email you the license key shortly after payment has been made.
Can I install StatEL on several computers with my personal installation file?
Your personal installation file is programmed to install StatEL only on the computer on which you executed the activation file. If you plan to install StatEL on another computer, it will work only as a demo version.
I must change my computer. How can reinstall StatEL on my new computer?
Don't worry, there is a procedure. Please contact us by email as soon as you have your new computer so that we can trigger this procedure.
Is there a discount for purchasing several licenses of StatEL?
Yes! If you purchase at least two (2) licenses you can participate in our discount program. Contact us so that we can accurately calculate the discount you will receive.
I am currently using an older version of StatEL. Do I have to buy a new licence to have the last version of StatEL?
No; by subscribing to our "Service-Software Agreement", you will benefit not only by receiving the last upgrade of your version of StatEL, but will also receive every upgrades that is made available for one (1) full year from the billing date of your "Service-Software Agreement".
If I participate in the "Service-Software Agreement", about how many StatEL's upgrades can I expect during a one-year period?

However, during the last year, we provided three StatEL updates, which significant enhancements and improvements.
